We’re Jake and Nuria. Inside Out Spanish is a small independent product, and this page describes — in plain language — what information we collect and what we do with it. If anything here is unclear, email hello@insideoutspanish.com and we’ll answer directly.

What we collect

When you sign up, we store your email address. When you look up a word or phrase, we store what you looked up and when, so you can replay it from your personal library. When you buy something, we store the purchase record (product, date, amount) and the Stripe customer ID we received from the payment processor.

That’s the whole list of account-level data. We don’t collect names, addresses, or phone numbers unless you provide them yourself.

What we don’t collect

We don’t resell your data. We don’t serve third-party ads on the product. We don’t track you across other sites. We don’t train AI models on your lookups.

Third parties we work with

Stripe processes payments and stores your card details — we never see your card number. ElevenLabs generates the regional accent audio when you look up a new word; the lookup text passes through their API but is not retained there. Cloudflare R2 stores cached audio files. Anthropic Claude generates IPA transcriptions and translations on a per-lookup basis. Loops sends transactional emails (sign-in links, receipts) on our behalf.

Cookies

We use one cookie: a session cookie that keeps you signed in. No analytics cookies, no marketing cookies, no third-party trackers embedded on product pages.

Deleting your account

Email hello@insideoutspanish.com and we’ll delete your account and all associated data within 7 days. Subscription cancellations and refunds go through Stripe’s normal flow — you can manage those from /account.
